The
Eastern Idaho Home Builders Association is affiliated with the Idaho
Building Contractors Association and the National Association of Home
Builders. Together we promote the American Dream of home ownership
throughout our community, state and donation. As home builders, we are
proud to be one of the top five industries in Idaho, bringing economic
growth to our state and communities. The building industry is the
second largest contributor to our nation’s economy.
What is the EIHBA?
The Eastern Idaho Homebuilders Association:

Is a non-profit association founded and chartered by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in 1974.

Is an Association composed of 170 + member companies.

Has members that are builders/developers and associates.

Membership
is open to any company or individual who abides by the EIHBA bylaws and
policies as set forth by the NAHB and EIHBA Leadership.

Is
the local representative of the National Association of Home Builders,
which is one of the most effective and powerful lobbying trade
associations in Washington, D.C.

Is represented at
the state level by the Idaho Building Contractors Association composed
of all 11 local associations in the state.

Works
with city and county agencies in Bonneville, Bingham, Jefferson, Teton,
Butte, and Clark counties to provide leadership and assistance in all
housing-related matters.

Is governed by the Board of Directors and managed by an Executive Officer.
The
EIHBA provides its members and the community with services that help
with the development and promotes the home building industry and home
ownership for the community. EIHBA is a self-regulatory organization, a
watchdog advocate for the building industry, provides a line of
communication for its members and the community, and is involved in
community fund raisers and donations.
